Jesse Venegas is President of Ideal Group. He is a Business Unit Manager for the Ideal Setech Companies while also overseeing the manufacturing, security, facilities, and IT departments for all the Ideal Group of companies.
Jesse has been working in Ideal Group since he was eleven years old when he swept the floors of the steel shop. Since then, he has held many roles in all different facets of the company, including as a Union Local 25 Iron Worker, Steel Fabricator, and Project Manager in the construction and manufacturing business units. Throughout his career, he has developed a proven track record for successfully developing new business and increasing company profits.
Jesse graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a minor in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Vermont. He furthered his education by earning an Executive Education Degree from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
Outside of Ideal, Jesse is a Gubernatorial Appointee for the Michigan Community Service Commission, the chair of the Facilities Committee for the Detroit Opera Board of Directors, and the chair of the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MHCC). Additionally, he serves as a board member of the Detroit Children’s Fund and is the Founder of the Clark Street Classic, a successful hockey tournament in Southwest Detroit’s Clark Park.
